Ocala, Florida – Paul Richardson (56, Leesburg) has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber to three years in federal prison for possession with the intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine. U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement. According to court documents, law enforcement conducted four controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Richardson in May and June 2025, in Lake County, Florida. The total weight of the methamphetamine sold by Richardson was over 50 grams.
This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives and the Leesburg Police Department. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Hannah Nowalk Watson and Anthony C. Marek.
