Find your way around EZ News.

Quick answers for business filings, accounts, federal news, weather information, source labels, and technical problems.

How do I find the latest news?

Open Business for current SEC filing records covering company events, or Justice news for official federal justice releases. Both desks support search and keep source labels visible. The Justice desk also offers press-release, Justice Blog, and state-prioritized views.

What is a Business Desk filing record?

It is a structured record assembled from validated SEC EDGAR metadata. It identifies a company submission, filing date, accession number, and listed filing items, then links to the complete filing. It is not independent reporting or investment advice. Read the Business source policy for the complete method.

How do I change my weather location?

Use the location button near the top of a weather page. Search by city and state, ZIP Code Tabulation Area, county, or latitude and longitude. You may also allow your browser to share its current location. The selected location is stored on your device and can be changed whenever you like.

Where should I look during severe weather?

Start with Weather Alerts and read the complete official instructions. The Weather Safety page provides general preparation guidance, but it does not replace an active warning, instructions from local authorities, or emergency services. Call 911 for an immediate life-threatening emergency.

What does an EZ News account do?

A reader account currently provides secure sign-in and a foundation for future reader features. Create one on the registration page or use the sign-in page. Never send a password or session code to support. Saved-location syncing, notifications, publishing, and administrative access are not currently part of reader accounts.

How can I understand the source labels?

The Business source policy explains SEC filing ingestion and corrections. The Federal News source policy explains Department of Justice material. The Weather source policy covers National Weather Service forecasts, observations, alerts, caching, and stale-data labels.

What should I include when reporting a problem?

Visit Contact EZ News and include the page address, what you expected to see, what happened instead, and the browser or device you were using. For a possible correction, identify the sentence or data point and include an authoritative source when available. Do not include passwords or private account credentials.
