Accountable publishing

The desks behind EZ News.

EZ News uses organizational desk bylines so readers can see whether a page is original analysis, an indexed public record, or official weather information. We do not attach invented people or credentials to an article.

Before publication

How an original article is reviewed

  1. Start with a reader question. The article must explain something useful, not merely repeat a headline.
  2. Read the primary record.SEC filings, BLS releases, NWS material, and official city notices are cited directly.
  3. Check every number and qualifier.Completed results stay separate from forecasts, allegations, estimates, and management claims.
  4. Review links, labels, and disclosures. The public article is time-gated and validated before it can enter the sitemap or email queue.

Corrections and questions

A visible way to reach the publisher.

Send corrections, sourcing questions, accessibility reports, or byline questions to [email protected]. Include the article URL and the specific statement you want reviewed.

Substantive corrections are checked against the underlying source. Updating a timestamp never silently changes the meaning of an original article.
